Washington Memorial Gardens
A historic cemetery nestled in the serene and picturesque surroundings of Decatur, GA. Often referred to as “Lincoln Cemetery on the Eastside”, Washington Memorial Gardens is the final resting place for thousands of Atlanta residents -- including many notable residents who have shaped the city's rich history.
The 35-acre memorial park was established by Tobie Grant in 1947. Grant was a local celebrity, businesswoman, clairvoyant, fortune teller and philanthropist. Her amazing legacy lives forever at Washington Memorial Gardens.
Whether you are visiting loved ones, exploring the grounds, or seeking a place of reflection, Washington Memorial Gardens offers the very best in Atlanta for honoring those nearest and dearest -- including traditional ground burial options and cremation memorialization.
